Summary: We enjoyed a three week stay at this property. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we're very pleased with the value that we received. This property was very economical, But in every important way was very satisfactory. Specifically it was on a secure compound gated and guarded. The air conditioners in the three bedrooms all worked very well. They were new. The showers were strong and hot in both bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with a convection oven granite countertops and a new stainless steel refrigerator with a solid freezer compartment. The laundry machine was also of good quality. No dryer but the Mauritian sun is strong. The linens were clean and in good condition. . They were changed weekly by the weekly cleaner. We found her to be efficient personable and honest. Also there was plenty of storage space for our belongings. The compound was absolutely lovely. This is an older property so the plantings have had a chance to grow in. And they are very well maintained.... as is the pool. This property has a good view of the pool from the furnished veranda. We experienced a minor infrastructure problem which was sorted very quickly by the management. There are some obvious reasons that the property is economical, but they are all superfiscial, mainly cosmetic . Lastly the property sits directly across from a very pleasant public beach on one of the island's more quiet coastlines. We will note that this place would be a bit inconvenient without a car. As there is no nearby the shopping. Good shopping is about a 15-minute drive. However a few hundred meters down the road there does appear to be a taxi stand under a tree. Should the occasion arise we would be happy to return here.
