Positive: The villa is beautiful and the highlight is definitely the view and outdoor area. Truly stunning, better than the photos. You can hear the sound of waves the whole day. The pool is lovely and, even if shared, it was never crowded. We also loved the location, very convenient to visit Le Morne, Black River Gorge, Flic & Flac etc. Tamarin beach is also very nice and good for surfing beginners. There are a few good grocery shops, a butcher and restaurants nearby. Communication with the host was good. We loved it here.

Negative: Lighting could generally be improved, such as ambience lights in the bathroom and outdoor terrace. Mosquito curtains would have been a plus (there are curtains which helped somewhat). Unfortunately, there are some ongoing construction works nearby which impacted the overall peacefulness of the location. However, they did not take place on the weekend and stopped around 4pm. As we were out most of the day, it wasn't too disruptive. The beautiful view and location is still totally worth it.
