Tucked away on a side street in the delightful village of Sandsend this bright spacious and lovingly decorated cottage offers guests a wonderful setting in which to relax. Despite its quiet location the shops promenade beach and restaurants are all within a mile of the property. Sandsend has plenty to keep you busy but if you want to venture further afield you have the popular seaside town of Whitby famous for its associations with Dracula as well as other pretty coastal towns and the vast North York Moors National Park to discover. If you re looking for the ultimate way to relax enjoy a luxurious day at Raithwaite Estate s Spa which is 1 mile away. Some steps lead you off the street and up to the property. Inside you will discover a spacious open-plan kitchen lounge and dining area with hard floors throughout. The lounge area offers a choice of comfortable seating and has an electric fire to create a cosy atmosphere on those colder evenings. It also has a large LCD Smart TV on the wall. The well-equipped kitchen has a full-size fridge-freezer dishwasher washing machine and Nespresso coffee maker. At the opposite end of the open-plan area next to the patio doors is the dining area which is light and airy and has plenty of seating for everyone. The bedrooms can all be found on the first and second floors. On the first floor are two double bedrooms which share the contemporary family bathroom. On the second floor is the master bedroom with an en-suite shower room and WC. Outside the garden is set over four levels. On the first level is a lovely patio area made from Yorkshire stone with contemporary patio furniture an ideal place to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. Steps lead up to further gravelled areas with a table and chairs at the far end which is the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee whilst enjoying the sea views. Need to know: 3 double bedrooms. 1 family bathroom with shower over the bath and 1 en suite shower room with WC. Full size fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Nespresso maker.. Electric fire in the lounge area. Wi Fi included. Hairdryers are provided in all rooms. Bathrobes are available for adults. Regret no pets, however please note that on occasions the owner s dog has visited the cottage. Garden is tiered with steep stone steps, care to be taken. Shops and restaurants within 200 metres. Roadside parking (subject to availability) or in the large pay and display council run car park beside the beach in Sandsend.
